Pete Casey walked the entire length of the Amazon, from its mouth in the Atlantic to its source hidden at the foot of Lake Ticlla Cocha high in the Peruvian Andes. And in this deserted place he met Piotr Chmielinski and Zbigniew Bzdak, who were the first in the world to kayak down the Amazon River almost 4 decades earlier.
